Workshops for Children with Barbara Gamper

BAU has invited artist and somatic trainer Barbara Gamper to lead a two-day workshop with students and their teachers from the Montessori School in Colle (Bolzano), reactivating the textile fish—over 20 meters long—created by Eva Koťátková for the Residency in 2025 part of the Pastoral Twilight project. Gamper guides the children through exercises attuned to the breathing of more-than-human beings, taking the fish as a point of departure and unfolding into a collective exploration of how organs such as the heart and lungs pulse, expand, and contract in their own rhythms, inviting participants to inhabit these movements through small, shared choreographies.
